The name AAMMNEST is a distinctive brand created around the identity of the eight states of Northeast India:

The name is inspired by the character and identity of these eight states rather than being a strict first-letter acronym.

Hi, I am Parth Saikia, a native of Northeast India from the state of Assam.
I am a Geographer and Traveler with an M.A. in Geography (2nd Rank Holder) from Assam University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Geo-Informatics (PGDGI) from Rajiv Gandhi University.
My academic background in Geography, combined with my interest in travelling and exploring the region, inspired me to create this platform.
Northeast India has always fascinated me because of its extraordinary geographical diversity, rich cultural heritage, unique communities, beautiful landscapes, and fascinating history.
Through AAMMNEST.COM, I share my knowledge, experiences, observations, and research about the eight states of Northeast India.
My goal is to make information about this remarkable region easier to discover and understand—whether you are a student, researcher, traveller, teacher, competitive-examination aspirant, or simply someone curious about Northeast India.

Why I Created AAMMNEST.COM
Growing up in Assam and having an academic background in Geography gave me a strong interest in the landscapes and people of Northeast India.
I noticed that information about the region is often scattered across different books, websites, publications, maps, and other resources.
I wanted to create a platform where readers could find information about Northeast India in a more organized, accessible, and easy-to-understand format.
AAMMNEST.COM is therefore both an educational resource and a personal effort to share the region that I know and continue to explore.
