Arunachal Pradesh Itinerary: 7, 10 & 14-Day Trip Plans
A good Arunachal Pradesh itinerary starts with choosing a manageable route. Mountain journeys take time, and Tawang, Ziro, Mechuka and eastern Arunachal cannot all fit comfortably into one short holiday. For a first trip from Guwahati, the western route through Bhalukpong, Bomdila and Dirang to Tawang is a practical starting point.
This guide gives you three day-by-day plans: a focused 7-day Tawang trip, a 10-day western Arunachal road trip with Shergaon, and a 14-day Tawang–Ziro itinerary. Each identifies where to sleep, which days are mainly for driving, and which excursions depend on permits or weather.
Quick answer: Choose 7 days for Dirang and Tawang, 10 days for more time around Tawang plus Shergaon, and 14 days to combine Tawang with Ziro. Start with an early departure from Guwahati. The seven-day plan prioritises Tawang town and does not include a Bum La excursion.

Which Arunachal Pradesh Itinerary Should You Choose?
| Trip length | Recommended route | Best suited to | Nights in this plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7 days | Guwahati–Bhalukpong–Dirang–Tawang–Bomdila–Guwahati | First-time visitors who want one main circuit and accept a compact schedule | 6 nights; add gateway stays if needed |
| 10 days | Western circuit with more time in Tawang and a Shergaon stop | Travellers who want a conditional border excursion and a flexible day | 9 nights; add gateway stays if needed |
| 14 days | Western circuit, Assam transfer, Ziro and Naharlagun, returning to Guwahati | Travellers interested in both the Tawang region and Apatani Valley | 13 nights, including Guwahati on Day 13 |
How the days are counted: Day 1 begins in Guwahati, ready for an early road departure. Arrive the previous evening if your flight or train would prevent that. The seven- and ten-day plans return to Guwahati on the final day; book the onward flight or train for the following day. The fourteen-day plan includes a Guwahati night before its final departure day.
These schedules assume a pre-arranged vehicle for the main road journey. Shared taxis and buses can work, but connections, seat availability and sightseeing arrangements may require additional days. The suggested route is a planning framework, not a statement that every road is open on your travel dates.
Arunachal Pradesh Travel Routes and Tourist Circuits
Guwahati to Tawang: the western route
Guwahati → Tezpur area → Bhalukpong → Bomdila → Dirang → Sela Tunnel corridor → Jang → Tawang. This follows the broad western circuit documented by Arunachal Tourism. Bhalukpong is the foothill entry point; Bomdila and Dirang provide useful breaks before Tawang. [1]
Keep Sela Tunnel and Sela Pass separate in your plan. The tunnel improves connectivity on the Tawang road, but travelling through it does not automatically include a visit to the old pass or Sela Lake. Ask your driver whether the pass road is open and whether a separate sightseeing diversion is suitable that day. Improved connectivity does not remove disruption risks elsewhere on the journey. [5]
Tawang to Ziro: allow time to change circuits
For the fourteen-day plan, return through Dirang and Tezpur, then travel towards North Lakhimpur, the Kimin–Potin approach and Ziro, using the route confirmed locally. The journey is split across Days 7–9. Avoid treating Ziro as a quick side trip from Tawang simply because both are in Arunachal Pradesh.
Arunachal Tourism lists the Tawang and Itanagar–Ziro routes as different tourist circuits. More direct interior roads may appear on maps, but a first visit needs verified road conditions, available accommodation and a driver familiar with the chosen connection. [1, 8]
| Gateway | Useful for | Planning point |
|---|---|---|
| Guwahati | Western Arunachal and a combined Tawang–Ziro road trip | Use an arrival night before a long drive |
| Donyi Polo Airport / Naharlagun | Itanagar and a Ziro-focused holiday | Compare current flights or trains, then arrange the road transfer |
| Dibrugarh / Tinsukia | An eastern trip centred on Namsai and nearby destinations | Build a separate eastern itinerary instead of attaching it to a short Tawang trip |
For a different regional focus, see our Namsai travel guide and itinerary. Travellers building a larger journey can also explore the Seven Sister States of Northeast India.
Reading the driving times: All times below are approximate planning allowances for a private vehicle in ordinary conditions, including short breaks. Longer sightseeing stops, traffic, check gates, roadworks, snow and landslides can add substantial time. Confirm each next leg with your driver and accommodation.
Arunachal Pradesh 7-Day Itinerary: Dirang and Tawang
This Guwahati to Arunachal itinerary gives you a full day around Dirang before continuing towards Tawang. It suits travellers whose main interests are monasteries, mountain scenery and an introduction to western Arunachal. It leaves limited room for delays, so extend the trip if your dates fall in a difficult weather period.
| Day | Route | Travel allowance | Main plan | Overnight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Guwahati → Bhalukpong | 5–7 hours | Travel and check in; keep the evening easy | Bhalukpong |
| Day 2 | Bhalukpong → Bomdila → Dirang | 5–7 hours | A short Bomdila stop if time allows; continue to Dirang | Dirang |
| Day 3 | Dirang and Sangti Valley | Local travel | Village or monastery visit, valley time and rest | Dirang |
| Day 4 | Dirang → Tawang | 5–7 hours | Confirmed Sela route; selective stops around Jaswant Garh or Jang | Tawang |
| Day 5 | Tawang town | Local travel | Tawang Monastery, town and a suitable memorial visit | Tawang |
| Day 6 | Tawang → Bomdila | 6–8 hours | Begin the return early; keep stops brief | Bomdila |
| Day 7 | Bomdila → Guwahati | 8–10 hours | Road return; keep the evening free | Trip ends in Guwahati |
Days 1–3: make Dirang part of the holiday
Leave Guwahati with permits, cash and the first stay confirmed. At Bhalukpong, focus on settling in rather than starting a long excursion after the drive. On Day 2, choose one short stop around Bomdila if the journey is running to plan. Tipi or additional monastery visits should be substitutions, not a growing list of mandatory stops.
Use Day 3 for Dirang and nearby Sangti Valley. The district administration places Sangti about 14 kilometres from Dirang. Arrange a village walk or a quiet riverside viewpoint with your host, keeping access to private land respectful. A relaxed day here also avoids stacking every experience onto the later Tawang transfer. [6]
Days 4–5: reach Tawang, then explore locally
On Day 4, decide the Sela route according to current access. If time and conditions permit, choose a brief stop at Jaswant Garh or Nuranang Falls near Jang. Save any missed stop for a suitable return day rather than arriving after dark to complete a checklist. Keep the first evening in Tawang restful.
Dedicate Day 5 to Tawang Monastery and nearby town attractions. Ask about visiting hours, photography rules and whether any memorial programme is operating. This schedule deliberately leaves out Bum La: a separate high-altitude outing adds permissions, road time and another ascent. The ten-day plan gives it a more suitable place. [3]
Days 6–7: protect the journey home
Return through Bomdila in two stages. Do not turn Day 6 into an additional full sightseeing day before starting the descent. On Day 7, travel to Guwahati and stay overnight if you are flying onward. An evening flight after the mountain return makes even a moderate road delay difficult to absorb.
Night check: Bhalukpong 1 + Dirang 2 + Tawang 2 + Bomdila 1 = 6 nights. Arrival and post-trip Guwahati nights are additional.
Arunachal Pradesh 10-Day Itinerary: Tawang, Dirang and Shergaon
For many first-time visitors, this is the more comfortable Arunachal Pradesh trip plan. It keeps the same staged approach, adds time in Tawang and finishes with a village stay in Shergaon. The extra days provide flexibility without making every day a new hotel check-in.
| Day | Route | Travel allowance | Main plan | Overnight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Guwahati → Bhalukpong | 5–7 hours | Arrival at the foothills | Bhalukpong |
| Day 2 | Bhalukpong → Dirang via Bomdila | 5–7 hours | One brief stop if the journey allows | Dirang |
| Day 3 | Dirang and Sangti Valley | Local travel | An unhurried day around the valley | Dirang |
| Day 4 | Dirang → Tawang | 5–7 hours | Transfer by the confirmed Sela route | Tawang |
| Day 5 | Tawang town | Local travel | Monastery, town and a quiet evening | Tawang |
| Day 6 | Conditional Bum La / lake excursion | Allow a full day | Only with clearance, suitable conditions and health; otherwise stay local | Tawang |
| Day 7 | Flexible Tawang day | Local or no travel | Rest, delayed local visits or weather buffer | Tawang |
| Day 8 | Tawang → Bomdila | 6–8 hours | Return journey and overnight break | Bomdila |
| Day 9 | Bomdila → Shergaon | 2–4 hours | Village afternoon and a pre-arranged local visit | Shergaon |
| Day 10 | Shergaon → Guwahati | 7–9 hours | Return by the locally confirmed road | Trip ends in Guwahati |
How to use the extra Tawang days
Day 5 stays local before the proposed border excursion. Ask the authorised permit channel which destinations are approved: Bum La and the lake circuit should never be assumed to be covered by a general state entry permit. PTSO and Sangetsar, also called Madhuri Lake, may be discussed as part of an excursion, but the approved route and local instructions determine what you can actually visit. [3, 4]
Day 7 is a genuine flexible day. If weather disrupts Day 6, a rescheduled excursion depends on permission and conditions. Otherwise use the day for rest, crafts, additional monastery time or short local visits. Filling it in advance with a distant expedition removes its value as a buffer.
Why Shergaon fits the return journey
The shorter drive from Bomdila to Shergaon leaves part of Day 9 for a village walk, a monastery visit or an orchard experience arranged through your stay. Ask before entering farms or photographing residents. Seasonal fruit and access to working farms should be confirmed, not promised as a year-round attraction.
Shergaon is associated with Sherdukpen heritage and offers a different experience from Tawang. Read our Shergaon travel guide and three-day itinerary if you want to expand this section. Eaglenest birdwatching needs its own arrangements and time; it is not included in this single-night stop.
Night check: Bhalukpong 1 + Dirang 2 + Tawang 4 + Bomdila 1 + Shergaon 1 = 9 nights. The Day 10 exit may use a different check gate from entry; confirm the route and permit conditions in advance.
Arunachal Pradesh 14-Day Itinerary: Tawang and Ziro
A Tawang Ziro itinerary brings together two distinct parts of Arunachal: the monasteries and high mountains of the west, and the villages and agricultural landscape of the Apatani Valley. Fourteen days makes this combination more practical, although several days remain dedicated to transport.
| Day | Route | Travel allowance | Main plan | Overnight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Guwahati → Bhalukpong | 5–7 hours | Foothill arrival | Bhalukpong |
| Day 2 | Bhalukpong → Dirang via Bomdila | 5–7 hours | Staged approach towards Tawang | Dirang |
| Day 3 | Dirang and Sangti Valley | Local travel | Valley day and rest | Dirang |
| Day 4 | Dirang → Tawang | 5–7 hours | Sela corridor and selected roadside stops | Tawang |
| Day 5 | Tawang town | Local travel | Monastery and nearby attractions | Tawang |
| Day 6 | Conditional border / lake excursion | Full day or local alternative | Approved excursion only; replace with town visits if unavailable | Tawang |
| Day 7 | Tawang → Dirang | 5–7 hours | Begin the transfer towards the central circuit | Dirang |
| Day 8 | Dirang → Tezpur | 7–9 hours | Return to Assam; overnight transfer break | Tezpur |
| Day 9 | Tezpur → Ziro | 8–10 hours | Long transfer via the locally confirmed Assam–Potin approach | Ziro |
| Day 10 | Ziro villages and valley | Local travel | Apatani cultural walk with a local guide | Ziro |
| Day 11 | Ziro local visits / flexible day | Local travel | Selected farm, lake or temple visit; spare time for weather | Ziro |
| Day 12 | Ziro → Naharlagun / Itanagar | 4–6 hours | Unhurried road transfer; optional short city visit | Naharlagun or Itanagar |
| Day 13 | Naharlagun / Itanagar → Guwahati | 8–10 hours | Road return and overnight in the gateway city | Guwahati |
| Day 14 | Guwahati departure / contingency | No mountain transfer | Onward flight or train; spare time if return travel was delayed | Trip ends |
Days 7–9: the transfer is part of the itinerary
This plan moves from Tawang to Ziro over three travel days, sleeping in Dirang and Tezpur on the way. Do not book a major Ziro activity for the evening of Day 9. An early start, a lunch break and arrival at your accommodation are enough for that day.
The route leaves Arunachal for Assam and then re-enters Arunachal. Discuss all intended districts, dates, check gates and re-entry with the permit authority or authorised operator. A fourteen-day holiday is not automatically the same as fourteen permitted days inside the state.
Days 10–11: give Ziro time beyond a viewpoint
Ask a local guide to help you understand the valley’s settlement patterns, agricultural landscape and Apatani cultural life. Hong and other villages can form part of a guided walk, subject to local welcome and access. Choose a small area to explore well, and ask before entering homes, fields or ceremonial spaces.
For Day 11, consider Tarin Fish Farm, Siikhe Lake or the Kardo temple area according to opening and access arrangements. The district administration documents these places separately, so there is no need to squeeze every one into a single circuit. Farm and paddy-field appearances vary with the cultivation season. [8]
Talley Valley is a separate nature or trekking commitment requiring suitable arrangements. Do not describe it as a guaranteed quick afternoon attraction. If a music festival is your main reason for visiting Ziro, plan around that year’s confirmed dates, tickets and accommodation rather than assuming the event fits this schedule.
Days 12–14: choose your exit before hiring the vehicle
The table gives a complete road return to Guwahati. Another option is to finish near Itanagar, use Donyi Polo Airport if a suitable flight operates, or take a booked train from Naharlagun. Those are alternative end arrangements, not extra activities on top of the same driving plan. Confirm actual services and allow transfer time. [8, 10]
An alternative exit can release time for Ziro or Tawang, but your vehicle quote may still include a return journey or drop charge. Decide that before paying a deposit. For the road plan, Day 14 provides a margin after reaching Guwahati; a major closure can still require further changes.
Night check: Bhalukpong 1 + Dirang 3 + Tawang 3 + Tezpur 1 + Ziro 3 + Naharlagun/Itanagar 1 + Guwahati 1 = 13 nights.
Can You Visit Ziro on a Shorter Arunachal Trip?
Yes. If Ziro is your main interest, build the trip around Ziro and Itanagar instead of adding Tawang. A seven-day outline is: Day 1 arrive at your chosen capital-region gateway; Day 2 transfer to Ziro; Days 3–5 explore the valley; Day 6 return towards Naharlagun or Itanagar; Day 7 depart. Match the first and last days to confirmed transport.
From Guwahati, compare a booked train to Naharlagun with a road journey. This may be a better use of a short holiday than driving across two circuits. Ziro also avoids the very high border excursions around Tawang, although road conditions and individual health needs still matter.
With ten days and both places on your wish list: either extend to fourteen days or choose one circuit. Combining them in ten days is possible only with tighter transfers and fewer local days; it should not be presented as the relaxed default.
Arunachal Pradesh Permits: ILP, PAP and Bum La
| Traveller or visit | What to check | Practical action |
|---|---|---|
| Indian visitors from outside Arunachal Pradesh | Applicable Inner Line Permit (ILP) requirements | Apply through the official state process and check your approved dates and destinations |
| Foreign nationals | Protected Area Permit (PAP) and the approved itinerary | Confirm current eligibility and conditions with the designated authority or authorised operator |
| Bum La and the restricted lake circuit | Additional local / defence clearance and current access rules | Use the authorised channel; ordinary state entry permission is insufficient |
| A trip leaving and re-entering the state | Permit coverage, validity and re-entry conditions | Show the complete route, including Assam transfer days, before travel |
Tourist eILP validity and fees
The official tourist eILP portal is eilp.arunachal.gov.in. At the check on 30 September 2026, its declaration limits tourist eILP stays to 14 days and lists ₹300 for up to three days, or ₹500 for more than three and up to fourteen days. These are portal-listed permit fees, not a tour operator’s package price. Recheck the displayed amount and category when applying. [2]
Use names and identity details exactly as required by the application. Check the issued permit before departure, and carry a saved copy with the requested identification. Longer stays, corrections and changes of route should be discussed with the issuing authority; approval is not guaranteed merely because an application was submitted.
Bum La and foreign-national restrictions
Tawang District Administration lists additional clearance for Bum La and Madhuri Lake. It also published a notice on 10 September 2026 concerning authorised channels for Bum La permits and a separate foreign-national restricted-area notice in May 2026. Check the current instructions before paying for an excursion. [3, 4]
Foreign visitors should not assume that PAP approval includes Bum La or every nearby lake. Confirm the specific permitted route, operator requirements and any reporting conditions. If a restricted outing is unavailable, use the local Tawang alternative already included in the itinerary.
Best Time for an Arunachal Pradesh Road Trip
| Period | How to use it | Allow for |
|---|---|---|
| October–November | A strong first choice for a Tawang–Ziro combination | Cold mountain evenings and variable early-season road conditions |
| March–April | Another useful window for western Arunachal and Ziro | High-altitude snow or ice and occasional wet spells |
| May–June | Consider with flexible bookings and close weather checks | Increasing rain; conditions differ by elevation and location |
| July–September | Avoid a tightly timed multi-circuit schedule in heavy-rain periods | Landslides, difficult transfers and delayed journeys; September is transitional |
| December–February | Choose when winter conditions are part of your travel preference | Cold, snow or ice and restricted high-altitude excursions |
The district’s Tawang guidance identifies spring and autumn travel windows and highlights monsoon and winter constraints. The table above is an editorial planning recommendation for the combined routes, not a daily forecast. Snowfall, clear mountain views, blooming flowers and open border roads cannot be guaranteed for any month. [3]
Travellers visiting Ziro for a festival should verify the organiser’s current dates. Travellers seeking snow should allow spare days and accept that a road may close precisely because snowfall has occurred.
Transport and Where to Stay on the Route
Private vehicle, shared taxi or self-drive?
A pre-arranged vehicle is the simplest way to follow these exact overnight stops. Ask for the full daily route in writing, the vehicle category, luggage capacity, driver expenses, parking, tolls, local sightseeing exclusions and the price of additional days. Confirm separately whether the same vehicle can operate the proposed border excursion.
Shared taxis and buses can reduce costs for some travellers, but treat town-to-town transport and sightseeing as separate bookings. Confirm the departure point, seat and onward connection locally. Do not rely on an assumed daily service to rescue a missed connection. For self-drive, choose a vehicle and route suited to current conditions and your mountain-driving experience; having an SUV does not make snow or landslides manageable.
| Base | Choose accommodation for | Ask before booking |
|---|---|---|
| Bhalukpong | An easy first-night arrival | Exact location relative to the check gate and parking |
| Dirang | Two-night comfort and valley access | Room location, hot water, meals and distance from town |
| Tawang | Rest between local and high-altitude visits | Heating arrangements, stairs, power backup and cancellation terms |
| Bomdila | A practical return halt | Early breakfast and an easy departure route |
| Shergaon | A locally arranged village stay | Meal availability and advance arrangements for visits |
| Ziro | Enough time for the valley | Whether the stay is in Hapoli or a village, and local transport |
| Guwahati / Tezpur / Naharlagun | Reliable transfer nights | Travel time to the next departure point |
For families, prioritise shorter activity lists, accessible rooms and flexible bookings. A photograph of a mountain-view room does not tell you whether there are several flights of stairs or reliable heating. Ask about the practical details that affect your own group.
How to Calculate Your Arunachal Pradesh Trip Budget
A useful budget follows the itinerary’s actual nights and vehicle days. Two people hiring a vehicle privately will usually have a different per-person cost from four people sharing the same vehicle. Festival dates, room standards, route changes and local excursion arrangements also affect the total.
| Cost item | Calculation or question |
|---|---|
| Main vehicle | Agreed full-route price, or daily rate × chargeable days; check minimum charges and return/drop costs |
| Accommodation | Room price × rooms needed × nights at each stop |
| Meals | Daily allowance × travellers × trip days; subtract included meals |
| Entry permits | Applicable official fees plus any clearly identified service charge |
| Local activities | Separate border vehicle, guide, entrance charges and booked experiences where applicable |
| Gateway travel | Flights/trains, arrival night and the post-trip Guwahati night where required |
| Contingency | Funds for additional lodging, vehicle time or revised onward travel |
Group total ÷ number of paying travellers = estimated per-person cost. Compare inclusions before comparing the headline price. A cheaper quote can omit the return drive, driver accommodation or a locally arranged excursion. Keep written receipts and the cancellation policy for each advance payment.
Arunachal Road Trip Checklist and Altitude Planning
- Documents: approved permits, required identity documents, bookings and offline copies of emergency contacts.
- Clothing: warm layers, rain protection and footwear with good grip; packing for Guwahati alone will not cover Tawang conditions.
- Money and communication: some cash, a power bank, offline route information and the next stay’s telephone number.
- Vehicle planning: discuss fuel stops, tyre condition, the spare wheel, early starts and the next day’s access.
- Daily decisions: ask your host and driver about current roads before leaving, and finish mountain driving in daylight where possible.
- Local etiquette: ask before taking portraits, follow monastery rules, stay out of restricted military areas and take litter back to an appropriate disposal point.
Tawang is around 3,000 metres above sea level, with nearby passes considerably higher. The staged route does not guarantee acclimatisation. If you have relevant medical conditions or are unsure whether the itinerary suits you, discuss it with a clinician before booking. [3, 9]
CDC guidance recommends gradual ascent. Do not continue to a higher elevation while experiencing altitude-illness symptoms. Worsening symptoms, confusion, trouble walking or breathlessness at rest require urgent medical attention and descent. Keep a rest day available rather than treating a border excursion as compulsory. [9]
What to Do When the Travel Plan Changes
| Problem | Adjustment |
|---|---|
| Late arrival in Guwahati | Stay in Guwahati and move the itinerary forward; shorten optional visits rather than adding night driving |
| Sela Pass sightseeing road unavailable | Ask whether the permitted main tunnel route is open; omit the pass visit if required |
| Bum La permit or excursion unavailable | Use a local Tawang day; do not pay for an unofficial alternative route |
| A blocked road delays the Tawang leg | Use flexible days, revise onward stays and reconsider the Ziro extension before compressing transfers |
| Heavy rain affects a Ziro walk | Choose accessible local visits after checking with your host; keep field and forest walks flexible |
| Return transport is at risk | Contact the next stay and airline or railway booking provider early; avoid relying on an unverified shortcut |
Do not add Kaziranga, Shillong, Mechuka or Anini by removing the transfer nights that make these plans workable. If Assam is part of a longer holiday, use our guide to places to visit in Assam to plan separate additional days.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many days are enough for Arunachal Pradesh?
Seven days can cover a compact Dirang–Tawang circuit from Guwahati. Ten days allows more time in western Arunachal, while fourteen days is a more practical choice for combining Tawang and Ziro. None of these plans covers the entire state.
What is a practical Arunachal Pradesh 7-day itinerary?
Travel from Guwahati to Bhalukpong, spend two nights in Dirang and two in Tawang, then return through Bomdila. This six-night plan includes a local Tawang day but leaves out Bum La. Add Guwahati gateway nights around it as needed.
What should I include in a 10-day Arunachal Pradesh itinerary?
Follow the western route through Bhalukpong, Dirang and Tawang, keep a conditional border-excursion day and a flexible Tawang day, then return through Bomdila and Shergaon. Check the border permissions separately.
Can Tawang and Ziro be visited in one trip?
Yes. The fourteen-day plan combines them with overnight transfer breaks in Dirang and Tezpur. They belong to different travel circuits, so the connecting journey needs its own days.
Can I travel from Guwahati to Tawang in one day?
It is a very long mountain journey and is not the approach used in this guide. Break the trip with foothill and valley stays, allow for altitude and road conditions, and avoid building the schedule around a late-night arrival.
Is an ILP enough to visit Bum La?
No. Bum La requires separate clearance and current local access approval. Use the authorised process and confirm the permitted excursion before booking. An ordinary state entry permit is not a border-excursion permit.
Does the Sela Tunnel route include Sela Pass and Sela Lake?
Not automatically. A tunnel journey and a sightseeing visit to the old pass are different route choices. Confirm whether the pass road is open and whether the diversion is suitable on your travel day.
Which Arunachal itinerary is better for families?
The ten-day western plan allows more flexibility than the compact seven-day option. Choose manageable driving days and suitable accommodation, and assess altitude needs individually. A Ziro-focused trip is another option if high border excursions are not a priority.
Can foreign tourists follow these trip plans?
The route ideas must be adapted to the traveller’s approved PAP itinerary and current restrictions. Foreign visitors should confirm the permitted areas, operator arrangements and reporting conditions, and should not assume access to Bum La or every lake.
Can I add Mechuka or Anini to the fourteen-day route?
That would require substantial changes and more transfer time. Plan either as the focus of a separate circuit or extend the holiday instead of squeezing it into the Tawang–Ziro schedule.
